The VANO GROUP, a leading poultry company and distributor of Komipharm Int. company in Iraq and ME, received Mr. Cho Kijoung, the Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Erbil, today at its headquarters. The visit was aimed at enhancing bilateral ties, exploring new opportunities, and supporting Iraqi-Korean businesses in Iraq.
Mr. Cho was welcomed by Mr. Karwan Mustafa, the General Manager of VANO GROUP, and other senior managers. They had a cordial and productive meeting where they exchanged views on the current situation and prospects of economic development in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and Korea. They also discussed the potential areas and sectors for cooperation.
Mr. Karwan expressed his gratitude for the support and friendship of Komipharm and the Korean consulate in Erbil. He said that the VANO GROUP has a long history of working with Korean partners and is keen to expand its business relations with Korea in the future. He also invited Mr. Cho to visit some of the projects and facilities of the VANO GROUP.
Mr. Cho thanked Mr. Karwan for his hospitality. He praised the VANO GROUP for its achievements and contributions to the economic development of the poultry sector in Iraq, which is important for food security. He said that Korea values its partnership with the Kurdistan Region and the VANO GROUP and is ready to provide more assistance and cooperation in various fields. He also accepted Mr. Karwan’s invitation and expressed his interest in learning more about the VANO GROUP’s activities and vision.
The visit concluded with a visit to the cold storage facility of VANO GROUP for Komipharm’s vaccine. Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the fruitful and pleasant meeting. They agreed to maintain close communication and to work together to strengthen friendship and cooperation.
